Anders Cappelen er PFU-klageskribent og har skrevet nær 100 PFU-klager på vegne av klienter siden 2006. Han er siviløkonom fra NHH, og har vært journalist i Aftenposten, forlagssjef i Hjemmet/Egmont, kommunikasjonsrådgiver i Woldsdal & Partnere/JKL og kommunikasjonssjef i oppstartselskapet TraceTracker. Har skrevet boken Bruk Pressen 3.0.

Cappelen er ekspert på kilders presseetiske rettigheter, og trolig den som de siste 15 årene skrevet flest klager til Pressens Faglige Utvalg (PFU) på vegne av klienter som har vært utsatt for urimelig og uetisk medieomtale. Fellingsprosenten i PFU er rundt 25 %. Av nær 100 PFU-klager Cappelen har skrevet på vegne av klienter, har rundt 85 % vunnet frem i PFU eller oppnådd gunstige forlik. Han har vært involvert i flere av de største PFU-klagesakene de siste ti årene.
